The short version.
- CrewClone is run by Crescendo Marketing, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
- Your company owns what you put in. We use it only to run CrewClone for you.
- 14 days free, no card. Then $249/month for you and up to 5 reps, $30/month for each rep after that. Cancel anytime.
- CrewClone is a training tool. We can't promise it will win you more jobs.
The full terms below are what count.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
CrewClone (the "Service"), at crewclone.com, is operated by Crescendo Marketing ("we", "us", "our"), based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between us and the business that signs up ("your company", "you").
The person who signs up confirms they are authorized to accept these Terms for the company. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. CrewClone is for businesses. It is not meant for personal or household use.
2. What CrewClone does
CrewClone helps a business owner write down how they sell and quote jobs, and turns that into sales training material for their reps: a quote-run playbook, an objection cheat sheet, field worksheets, training video scripts, a grading rubric, meeting slides, and practice quotes against a simulated homeowner with scores and feedback.
The material is written by automated tools from the answers and documents you provide. It can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing it before your team relies on it, and for making sure what your reps tell customers is accurate and lawful.
3. Accounts and roles
- Owners sign in with an email and password (or a sign-in link we provide). Owners answer the questions, build the material, manage the team and handle billing.
- Reps sign in with a personal code or a join link the owner sends them. Reps can read the material and practice. They cannot see owner pages.
You are responsible for everyone you give access to, and for what happens under your account. Keep passwords, codes and join links private. If a code is shared with the wrong person, use "New code" on the Team page right away, and tell us if you think your account has been misused. Give us accurate sign-up details and keep them current.
4. Free trial
New companies get a 14-day free trial. No payment card is needed to start. The trial has a lower daily usage limit than paid plans. At the end of the trial, access locks until you subscribe. We may limit the number of trials from the same business or connection.
5. Subscription and billing
- Price. $249/month covers the owner and up to 5 active reps. Each active rep after 5 is $30/month. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes that apply.
- Payment. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
- Subscribing during the trial. If you subscribe during the trial, billing normally starts when the trial would have ended.
- Changing your team. Adding or removing reps changes your monthly total from that day, prorated by Stripe.
- Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from Plan and billing. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not give refunds for partial months unless the law requires it.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will retry it and you keep access for a short time. If it is not resolved, access locks.
- Locked accounts. When a trial ends or a subscription stops, access locks but your data is kept. Subscribing again opens everything back up. See section 9 for how to have data deleted.
- Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
6. Usage limits
Features that use AI (building material, voice transcription, practice runs and similar) count toward a daily limit shared by your company. We set these limits to keep the Service fair and running for everyone and may adjust them. Contact us if you need more.
7. Your content
"Your content" means everything your company and your reps put into CrewClone: answers, voice recordings, uploaded documents, logos, edits, practice conversations, and the material CrewClone writes from them for you.
- You own your content. As between us, your company owns it.
- Our permission to use it. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you. That includes sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy.
- We don't sell it. We don't sell your content, and we don't use it to train our own AI models.
- Your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. Don't put in information you aren't allowed to share, such as other people's confidential documents. Avoid entering customers' personal details; CrewClone doesn't need them.
8. AI processing
To write your material and run practice quotes, CrewClone sends your content to third-party AI providers: Anthropic (for writing, practice conversations and grading) and OpenAI (for turning voice recordings into text). They process it to provide the Service to you, under their terms for business API customers. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. CrewClone is built to leave a marked question instead of guessing a price, warranty or policy, but you should still check the material before relying on it.
9. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your content while your account exists, including while it is locked, so you can pick up where you left off. If you want your company's account and content deleted, email us from the owner's email address. We will delete it within 30 days, except where we need to keep records for legal, tax, billing or security reasons. Removed documents and earlier copies are deleted as described in the app. Backups roll off on their normal schedule.
10. Acceptable use
Don't use CrewClone to:
- break any law, or train reps to mislead or pressure customers in ways that break consumer protection laws;
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing or infringes someone else's rights;
- try to get into other companies' accounts, test our security without permission, or get around usage limits or access controls;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- share sign-in codes or links outside your company, or let more people use one rep seat.
We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken or the Service is at risk. Where it's practical, we'll tell you first.
11. Our property
CrewClone's software, design, question sets, brand and logos belong to us. These Terms give you the right to use the Service while you have an active trial or subscription, and nothing more. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. No guarantee of sales results
CrewClone is a training tool. Practice scores, levels and feedback are coaching aids, not a measure of how anyone will perform with real customers. We do not promise any number of jobs, closing rate, revenue or other business result.
13. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep CrewClone running, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that takes away something important you are paying for, you can cancel.
14. Disclaimer
Except as these Terms say otherwise, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, jobs or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the fees your company paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. These limits apply however the claim is made, even if we were told the damage was possible.
16. Indemnity
Your company will defend and cover us against claims from third parties that come from your content, from how your team uses the Service, or from your breaking these Terms.
17. Ending the agreement
You can stop using CrewClone and cancel anytime. We can end or suspend your access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or if we stop offering the Service (in which case we'll give reasonable notice and a chance to export your material). Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 7, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 18) continue after the agreement ends.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and both sides agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, tell owners in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using CrewClone after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel.
20. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about the Service. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up. You can't transfer this agreement without our written consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
